These adult groups are designed to smooth the journey along the often challenging parenting pathway. At each monthly Parenting Group session, topics pertinent to children’s growth and development are discussed. Topic  presentation is enhanced by a lively group discussion, which draws upon parents’ current experiences with their child(ren).

Groups are arranged according the child’s age and are offered to parents of children two years through tweens. Child’s age-grade /group determined as of February 1, 2012. With the exception of Groups II and III (ages 2 and 3 years old) which always include a short presentation, Betsy’s groups are discussion groups. Topics will be generated by participants’ issues, needs, and questions.

Enrollment: With the exception of Group II which is new each September, groups are on-going. Spaces in the older groups become available as a result of participants who leave.  Group size is limited; new series enrollment only, on a first come, first serve basis. Betsy offers morning, afternoon, and evening groups.
